Pumpkin Bread

Pumpkin Bread from Stone Church Acres

Mix by hand

3 1/2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

3 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 1/2 cups pumplin

1 cup salad oil

2/3 cup water

1 cup chopped nuts

Combine dry ingredients and nuts.

Add eggs beaten.

Add remaining ingredients.

Grease two loaf pans and line bottom wiith waxed paper.  

Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.

We finally received some rain.  We have had crops like cucumbers and summer squash just dry up!   The crops are happy again!
